Your role

As a Commodity Management Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing plans to support forecasted needs for suppliers and/or commodities. You will employ knowledge of commodity qualities, transportation options, risk management, and supply chain evaluation models to develop and implement optimal commodity management strategies.

For more specific responsibilities as a Commodity Management Analyst, you will do the following tasks:

• Drives alignment between Supplier roadmaps and Dell line of business roadmaps.
• Negotiates product costs and contracts as appropriate.
• Drives suppliers to improve their scorecard performance.
• Implements Dell initiatives with supply base as required.
• Identifies suppliers that provide relevant technology for products.

About you

Here’s what Dell's are looking for in this role:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operation Management, or any related background
• Able to join in Feb 2024
• Great communication in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken)
• Analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Detailed-orientated, data-driven, and being analytical
• Organizational and planning skills to coordinate deliverables
