Marie Knights is a Relationship Manager at CPA Australia, one of the largest accounting bodies in the world. A UWA Economics graduate, her role has seen her engage with thousands of accounting and finance professionals at all stages of their career, from graduate to retired. Building on her professional experience, she undertook a project to understand the key traits of individuals who succeed in building careers in past recessions. Marie will address how these traits can be of value to the current cohort of graduates entering the workforce in a once in a century global crisis.
