Your role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to fleet performance, fuel consumption, maintenance records, and other relevant metrics. Generate reports to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Assist in coordinating vehicle maintenance schedules, ensuring that all vehicles are properly serviced and comply with safety regulations. Collaborate with maintenance teams to address issues promptly.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Support in monitoring and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to fleet operations. Assist in updating records to reflect any changes in regulations.
  • Optimization Projects: Work on special projects to optimize fleet operations, such as route planning, fuel efficiency initiatives, and cost reduction strategies.
  • Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with various departments, including operations, logistics, and finance, to streamline communication and ensure smooth fleet operations. Assist in maintaining effective communication channels with drivers and other stakeholders.
  • Technology Utilization: Explore and implement technologies that enhance fleet management, utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) to assist companies manage and control daily warehouse operations, from the moment goods and materials enter a distribution.

Training & development

Through this internship, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing and optimizing Carsome's fleet of vehicles. You will work closely with the Fleet Operations team to ensure the efficient utilization, maintenance, and compliance of the company's vehicles. This internship provides a unique chance to develop skills in logistics, data analysis, and operational efficiency within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
