About Bosch Malaysia

Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd, representing Bosch in Malaysia since 1923, operates from Selangor and Penang with businesses in Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. The PgP5 Plant, Bosch Group’s newest expansion in Malaysia, is a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan, Penang. Due to growth forecasts and front-end production in Bosch’s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is needed for the back-end production and final testing of semiconductors and sensors.

Your role

As an intern, you will be assigned to support the Information Security & Privacy activities within the plant.

  • Support the preparation of Information Security & Privacy (ISP) audits.
  • Support the implementation of projects related to access rights management.
  • Provide support with administrative tasks and documentation related to ISP and data protection initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborating with various departments to integrate ISP concepts throughout the plant.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of ISP awareness initiatives, including information security-focused events, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Designing visually compelling posters and communication materials to enhance information security awareness.
  • Undertaking additional ad-hoc administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Languages: Proficiency in English with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Education: Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Business Studies, Business Administration, etc.)
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva is required. Familiarity with PowerBI is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail.
  • Personality Traits: A motivated individual with a cooperative attitude toward. Assertive personality traits are valued in this role.
  • Working Style: Capable of working independently while being result- and quality-oriented.
  • Duration: The internship duration is preferably 4 months or above.
