Your role

The incumbent will perform routine and transactional processing within the Accounts Payable function to ensure quality and accurate completion of services and key performance indicators as defined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA). Here are the responsibilities:

  • Transaction Processing: Invoice processing, escalating and resolving issues on a timely manner
  • Preparing Key Performance Indicator reports, parked item reports and period/quarter/year-end processing.
  • Process Excellence: Assist with new process implementations and maintenance of Accounts Payable general policies & procedures
  • Participate in continuous improvement in process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure internal controls programs adhere to accounting principles, GBS standards and SLA
  • Customer Relationship Management: Addressing vendor/user inquiries, identification and communication of potential issues/risks, maintaining working relationship with cross-function and end market
  • Backing up Scanning / Senior Analyst in team when required
  • Ad hoc tasks as and when required

About you

To apply for this position, you have to meet qualifications below:

  • Proficient in Korean Language (both written and orally)
  • Equipped with Professional Certified in Topik and KLAT
  • Diploma with a minimum of 1 years of work experience OR a Fresh Graduate with Degree in the relevant field (preferably Commerce, Finance, Accounting)
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Basic knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of expenditure cycle and rules (e.g. purchase orders, invoices, credit/debit notes, payment terms etc.) - invoice processing/payment/reporting (analysis, extracting data)
  • Basic knowledge of the treasury function and rules e.g. (bank statements, cash operations etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of the inter-company recharge principles and rules
  • Understanding of general administrative duties and procedures
  • Good overall knowledge of functional and able to use SAP and other financial systems is an added advantage
  • Good computer skills and proactive learner
  • Experience in performing the Purchase to Payment process is a plus
