Your role

During the internship period, you will be exposed to these areas:

Data Analysis & Visualization:

  • Responsible for turning raw data into valuable insights using relevant analytics tools i.e VBA Macro, Power BI, Tableau, or other useful visualization tools.
  • Visualize and present data as well as insights in a comprehensible manner to all stakeholders and teams.
  • Collect, organize, and interpret data closely with the team for process improvement.

Process Improvement & Digitalization:

  • Design and implementation of measures to solve specific improvements related to business problems.
  • Facilitate the O2C community in process optimization by providing insight related to strategic and industry trends via the utilization of new tools or technologies.

Training & Development

Interns will acquire a thorough understanding of the dynamic field of global supply chain management. Throughout your term, practical experience within an international company will be offered, providing exposure to daily challenges, processes, and insights from dedicated and skilled teams. Expect challenging tasks with significant responsibility across various projects, integrating you into the team from the onset. On-the-job training will be provided, ensuring you become integral members of the team.

About you

Here’s what BASF's are looking for in this role:

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Programming, or Data Science
  • Knowledge in data analysis and statistical modeling with acumen in finance and accounting is a plus
  • Proficient in visualization tools e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or other useful visualization tools and programming languages [Phyton, R, Javascript]
  • Curious about data, new technologies, and detail oriented
  • Proficient in English
  • Preferably 6 months internship
  • Willing to work at Menara TM, Bangsar (next to Kerinchi LRT station)
