In this role, you will have the key responsibilities below:
Will be part of the global team that develops and manages the state-of-the-art in-house developed application that will be used in BASF Plants around the world.
Will assist the Application Operations Engineering and Test Automation teams located in Kuala Lumpur
Will learn key functions of Application Management, and Quality Assurance
About you

Education:
Pursuing a Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, business informatics, or in a comparable field.
Able to commit a minimum of 6 months full-time internship (August 2024 onwards).
Opportunity to convert to permanent role based on the hiring requirement and candidate performance.
Technical & Professional Knowledge (mandatory):

Strong verbal and written communication skills for a collaborative team environment.
Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies as necessary.

Understand user requirements and create manual test cases to validate them.
Technical & Professional Knowledge (additional plus/nice to have skills):
Experience in software development, particularly web and app applications.
Experience in application operations support.
Good understanding of testing, development lifecycle, and agile methodologies.
Familiarity with automation testing software tools like Selenium, Cypress, Postman, etc., is an added advantage.
Identify coverage deficiencies and enhance the test coverage.
Able to think critically, structured, and organized.
Ability to gather and compile data, generating detailed test reports and documentation.
Review and enhance application requirements while meticulously preparing test scenarios.
