Your role

As an intern, your responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Configuration Management Manager in all aspects of Configuration Management.
  • Records and maintains Configuration Item (CI) within scopes in the CMDB & provides reliable and up-to-date details about the IT infrastructure that supports IT services. 
  • Data remediation for CI(s) that are reported as failed in Data Quality KPI. 
  • Ensuring Configuration Management on a day-to-day basis by availability and responsiveness to queries and issues. 
  • Analyze and resolve configuration management issues in a timely manner. 
  • Work closely with stakeholders & CI Owners to create/maintain/retire CI in CMDB. 
  • Request source files from the stakeholders to perform data reconciliation activity. 
  • Perform the Configuration Item Audit.

About you

The requirements for this internship:

  • Experience in inventory management. 
  • Data analysis and data reconciliation experience to improve data accuracy and consistency. 

Hard skills:

  • High-level IT infrastructure and networking concepts.
  • High-level understanding of ITIL processes. 
  • Knowledge of data validation and verification methods. 
  • Proficiency in Excel and data reconciliation. 
  • Analytical skills to understand the configuration items, relationships, and attributes within the CMDB.
