Your role

As part of the Astro Media Solutions department, you will be working hand-in-hand with the data analyst team in the following:

• Data cleaning, ensuring data are formatted according to AMS standard, in preparation of weekly revenue/ performance and adex-related report
• Providing data assistance to stakeholders and the Sales team as and when required
• Driving data-driven insights from third-party research to support stakeholders, Sales, and Marketing Services team
• Preparing presentation deck to clients and stakeholders in a direct, detailed, and interesting manner
• Preparing case studies to highlight the effectiveness of Astro advertising products
• Actively participating in brainstorming sessions to market Astro advertising products more effectively

Training & development 

Astro’s Internship Programme is a structured and robust program for undergraduate students currently pursuing their first degree/diploma in institutions of higher learning. The program provides an opportunity to gain hands-on training in the media and broadcast industry, work on real projects, and benefit from a range of classroom-style training sessions. The program lasts for 10 weeks and is open to students from various fields of study. Throughout the internship, opportunities for development through classroom-style training programs are also offered. At the end of your time at Astro, you’ll have gained exposure to working life at Malaysia’s leading media company, experience, and knowledge related to your field of study, and a coveted addition to your resume. High-performing candidates will potentially be offered employment upon the completion of their studies.
