Your role

In this role you will be accountable for the work below:

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to support the delivery of various projects and initiatives
  • Assist with product research and analysis, including market research, user research, and competitive analysis
  • Contribute to the development of user stories, requirements, and specifications for new products and features
  • Help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and scrum ceremonies to provide updates on project status and contribute to decision-making processes
  • Support the development and execution of go-to-market plans and product launches
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and research projects as needed

Training & development 

Astro’s Internship Programme is a structured and robust program for undergraduate students currently pursuing their first degree/diploma in institutions of higher learning. The program provides an opportunity to gain hands-on training in the media and broadcast industry, work on real projects, and benefit from a range of classroom-style training sessions. The program lasts for 10 weeks and is open to students from various fields of study. Throughout the internship, opportunities for development through classroom-style training programs are also offered. At the end of your time at Astro, you’ll have gained exposure to working life at Malaysia’s leading media company, experience, and knowledge related to your field of study, and a coveted addition to your resume. High-performing candidates will potentially be offered employment upon the completion of their studies.

About you
