Your role

In this role you will be accountable for the work below:

• Ensuring all programs meet the transmission requirement and deadline and adhere to the Content Code and Regulatory Guidelines.
• House-mastering for all media on Astro Push and Pull Content platform
• Have a good understanding and comply with Malaysia Guidelines on Film Censorship and The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Content Code
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all relevant regulatory codes and banned list program
• Perform censorship edits and ensure the presentation does not impact customer viewing experience.
• Technically competent to ensure house-mastering of media follows internal SOPs and Astro Broadcast Standard and Technical Specifications
• To identify areas of opportunity and propose improvements
• Log all edit notes and produce censorship and or banned reports when necessary
• Generate individual productivity reports (job sheet)

About you

• Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Mass Communications, Broadcasting, Digital Multimedia or any other related fields.
• Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in other languages would be an added advantage.
• Preferable with 1-2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• The ability to communicate in Chinese or Indian languages is an added advantage.
• Willing to work on shift and possess own transport
