Your role

Under AirAsia's Santan, Quality Assurance ensures high standards in the inflight experience. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate stock levels, checking items against records, resolving discrepancies, and monitoring production processes to address issues promptly.

As an intern, your responsibilities include:

  • Conduct quality inspections of products in the inflight cart upon return to the warehouse.
  • Examine the items that are returned from the aircraft to the warehouse to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform regular checks to identify discrepancies, allowing for timely correction and preventing potential losses or errors in inventory management.
  • Investigate the reasons behind the discrepancies, correct any errors, and document the findings for further analysis and improvement.
  • Compile and present data into a report form on reconciliation checks for review by management.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to address quality issues and implement corrective actions such as retraining employees, improving packaging procedures, or adjusting inventory handling processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection findings and reconciliation results.
  • Track progress over time and demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Follow established company policies and industry regulations governing product handling, storage, and distribution to protect both employees and consumers.

About you

Requirements for this internship:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Logistics or relevant degrees
  • Have good proficiency skills in Excel/Google Sheets and statistical analysis tools.
  • Possess analytical skills and strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data collection and analysis.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to present findings and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new methodologies or software.
