Your role

As a Procurement Executive at AirAsia Malaysia, you will do the work below:

Functional Responsibility & Duties

  • Perform Buyer duties for goods and services required by users
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of suppliers, products, and services on the basis of the ability to meet the company requirements including the quality system and regulatory requirements in accordance with the documented procedures.
  • Issue Purchase Orders approval and Purchase Orders according to company’s departmental policies and procedures
  • Provide timely, accurate, and complete reports as needed for the purchases
  • Support the Senior Procurement Executive to achieve the Procurement Dept’s goals, including savings,
  • compliance and risk management
  • Support Senior Procurement Executive to secure compliance of Suppliers to contracted terms &
  • conditions
  • Ensure timely issue purchase ordered goods and services for the assigned purchases.
  • Interface with users to understand needs and deliver continuous value, and a high level of customer service
  • Support vendor registration process as per the company’s departmental policy
  • Deliver the needs of any other tasks as instructed and relevant to the role and the Procurement Team

  • Promote Asia Digital Engineering’s culture and values within the organization and externally
  • Act as the voice of Component and Warehouse Services
  • Be due diligent, ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely delivery of actions

About you

  • Possess a recognized Degree in any field
  • Fresh graduates in Engineering or those who have internship experience in Procurement are encouraged to apply
  • Good negotiation and commercial thinking skills, able to understand the procurement process
  • Able to prioritize, focus, persevere, manage time well, and aim to deliver from start to finish (good project management skills), while being tolerant and having patience with people
  • Detail-oriented, creative, analytical, and good with numbers and analysis tools (MS Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Positive with self and others, good in relationship management, and able to influence others
  • Have integrity, ethical, respectful, and service-minded; able to collaborate with others from different cultures with different values, excellent in providing customer service and stakeholder management
  • Confident, self-initiator, great coordinator, and able to adopt change
  • Able to network with others, be a team player; curious, and strive for learning & self-development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa
