Your role

As a Medical Claims Assessor - Hong Kong Market at AIA Malaysia, you will be responsible for the following roles:

  • Process all Life and/or A&H/Major claims requests received as per stipulated requirements.
  • Evaluate and gather all data for claim processes, prepare medical questionnaires to review all statuses, and ensure efficient adjustment in the claim system.
  • Ensure meeting individual quality, turnaround time, and productivity benchmarks.
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by an immediate manager in order to meet business requirements.
  • Prepares regular reporting to management on metrics relating to business, operations, risk, compliance, workforce, etc., or statutory authorities on regulatory metrics.
  • Develop procedures for reporting, extracting, collating, and populating data to reporting template.
  • Validate data accuracy and liaise with relevant parties to rectify data quality.
  • You will be following the Hong Kong working calendar.

Training & development

AIA also provides comprehensive training to succeed in your roles. In the beginning, the new employees will get an onboarding section to learn company values and culture. For this position, you will be trained in after-sales support to policy-related administrative processes such as new business, renewals, and change requests from individual policyholders for the Hong Kong Market. About you

  • Open to Fresh Graduates, experienced Medical Claims Assessors, and experienced candidates from Lab / Nursing.
  • Education: Preferably Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Medical Science, Social Science, Business Management or equivalent.
  • Language: Spoken and written in Chinese and English, with strong written skills.
  • Self-motivated and customer-orientated.
  • Time management skills.
  • Computer literate in MS Office.
  • Good commitment at work, good attitude, willing to learn.
